Porsche LWB Seat Recliner Brackets
CNC-machined seat recliner brackets designed for factory Porsche fixed Lightweight Bucket Seats, also known as LWB or 918-style seats. The brackets raise the front of the seat by approximately 25 mm, creating a more comfortable and reclined driving position while providing additional head and helmet clearance.

A more natural driving position
The factory Porsche Lightweight Bucket Seat offers excellent support, but many drivers find its original seating angle too upright—especially during longer road journeys or when driving on track with a helmet.
The NS Custom Parts Lightweight Bucket Seat Recliner Bracket Kit raises the front mounting position of the seat by approximately 25 mm. This changes the fixed seat angle, allowing the driver or passenger to sit in a more natural and relaxed position.
The increased recline can improve thigh support, reduce the upright feeling of the original seating position and provide additional clearance between the driver’s helmet and the roof.
The brackets use the existing mounting points in the factory seat and seat runner. No drilling, cutting or permanent modification is required, allowing the vehicle to be returned to its original configuration.
These are fixed-angle seat tilt brackets. They do not convert the seat into an adjustable reclining seat.

Important Clubsport Package information
On some Cayman GT4 and GT4 RS models equipped with the factory Clubsport Package and passenger-side fire extinguisher, available clearance may be limited.
The additional seat recline can move the upper part of the passenger seat closer to the rear bulkhead. Forward seat movement may also be restricted if the factory adjustment lever contacts the fire-extinguisher mounting base.
Fitment and full seat-runner movement should therefore be checked carefully before installing the kit on the passenger side of a Clubsport-equipped vehicle.

One complete kit for one seat:
- One left recliner bracket
- One right recliner bracket
- Installation fasteners
- Locking nuts
One kit is required per seat. Two kits are required when modifying both front seats.
Installation
The brackets install between the factory Lightweight Bucket Seat and its original seat runner using the existing mounting holes. Seat removal is required for installation.
Because the seat and seat-belt mounting system are safety-critical components, installation by a qualified technician is strongly recommended.
After installation, verify:
- Correct tightening of all fasteners
- Free movement and secure locking of the seat runner
- Seat-belt or harness clearance
- Clearance between the seat and rear bulkhead
- Clearance around any factory fire-extinguisher equipment
