Description
The NS Custom Parts Lightweight Crank Pulley greatly improved throttle response, horsepower and torque by increasing the speed of the compressor. In order to be able to process the additional pressure, however, a change in engine management is required.
The crankshaft sprocket increases the diameter of the standard pulley from 162mm to 179mm, which causes the compressor to spin faster. This leads to a significant increase in horsepower and torque over the entire speed range. The crankshaft sprocket is balanced to factory specifications. The wheel is CNC machined from lightweight aluminum with weight-saving milled grooves. It has an anodized black surface.
The OEM Pulley weight is 3933gr vs 1300gr for our Lightweight Pulley. The weight reduction of this crankshaft damper pulley is equal (or at least) to the removal of more than 56 kg of vehicle weight from the moving mass, which is not negligible.
